Laver Cup event preview

Laver Cup in brief

Laver Cup brings Team Europe and Team World together over three days. Its team competition gives you a different atmosphere from an ordinary tour tournament: results contribute to the team contest, and the weekend has its own match format. Read the organiser’s format page before choosing which day appeals to you. A team entry or advance ticket cannot promise that a particular player will appear in your session.

The 2027 event is at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, part of the Los Angeles area, from 24–26 September. The 2026 edition was at The O2 in London. That move changes the airport, hotel and ticketing plan completely. Choose Los Angeles if the event itself is your priority or if you want to build a California holiday around the tennis.

For a first trip, plan one definite court session and leave the rest of the stay flexible until the programme and prices appear. The best base depends on whether you want the simplest arena journey or more city and coast time.

What is confirmed for 2027

The organiser confirms the host city, Intuit Dome and the three competition dates. The venue’s address is 3930 West Century Boulevard, Inglewood, California 90303. Use that address when comparing hotels and transport. A property described as being in Los Angeles can still have a substantial journey to Inglewood.

The 2027 session timetable, public practice programme, ticket prices and general-sale date are to be announced. The host announcement directs fans to register as Laver Cup Insiders for further news. Follow that announcement route and read each message’s year carefully. Exact player line-ups and who plays when are later decisions.

Book accommodation with suitable cancellation terms if you want to start early. Wait for the session offer before fixing a tight flight arrival or a non-flexible evening plan. Save the host announcement with your itinerary, then add the ticketed date and category when you have an actual booking.

How tickets usually work

In 2026 London, the official ticket page linked single-session purchases through AXS, The O2’s ticket partner, and offered multi-session products through the event’s approved routes. That is historical context for the types of ticket to compare, not the confirmed seller for Los Angeles. Start from Laver Cup’s own 2027 page when the new offer appears.

Compare the exact session, seat category, full-weekend or multi-session coverage, and any hospitality inclusions. Read whether a practice event needs its own ticket. A package can simplify the weekend, while a single session gives you more room for sightseeing; the right answer depends on your budget and time.

No 2027 price is published here because a session-specific figure is not available. Keep a separate budget for flights, hotel, arena transfers and meals. Before payment, read the cancellation and transfer rules and save the organiser’s confirmation. Use only purchase routes identified by the event for that edition.

Getting to Los Angeles and the arena

Use Los Angeles International Airport as the main airport to compare for an Inglewood stay. Compare the flight duration and airport transfer cost for your actual travel dates. Compare the actual itinerary and terminal, allow for border formalities and keep your first tennis session comfortably after arrival.

LA Metro’s current Intuit Dome page describes an arena connection from the K Line, while the venue describes its own shuttle and app arrangements. A Laver Cup 2027 timetable or free-travel entitlement has not been confirmed. Check the route for your exact event date and whether reservations are required. Do not treat a current general arena service as a guaranteed tournament benefit.

Use Intuit Dome’s accessibility information for seating, entry and shuttle questions. Ask the venue about your complete arrival route and the return after the session. If you prefer a road transfer, choose the approved drop-off and collection areas once the event instructions appear. Keep a charged phone and an alternative way to reach the hotel.

Where to stay

Start with Inglewood for the arena, the LAX area for a short flight-led stay, or a coastal or central-city base for a longer holiday. Price levels are a rough guide: check live prices for your dates. Check the 2027 transport timetable when planning your return.

Compare the complete cost and journey for the number of sessions you want. Ask about room access and any hotel shuttle directly. Keep the booking flexible until your session is confirmed, and map the actual street address instead of relying on the hotel’s destination label.

Entry requirements for UK visitors

GOV.UK says you must have the correct US travel approval before you travel: an ESTA or a valid US visa, depending on your circumstances and purpose. An approval does not guarantee admission. Read GOV.UK’s USA entry requirements before paying for the trip and again before departure.

Check your eligibility using your own passport, travel history and reason for visiting. Use the official US application route and leave time for a visa if you do not qualify for ESTA. Keep hotel and onward-travel information available, and arrange insurance for the full stay. The team event’s ticket confirmation is separate from permission to enter the country.
