Use the source responsible for the detail

We begin with the organisation that controls the detail you need. Tournament organisers publish competition dates, ticket products, court access and entry rules. Transport operators publish their routes, fares, service notices and accessibility arrangements. GOV.UK foreign travel advice is our starting point for British visitors’ entry requirements. ATP and WTA calendars help establish tour categories and event listings, but a calendar range may differ from the organiser’s whole programme.

Links sit beside the relevant section so you can check the detail without searching through a long bibliography. The guide data records those sources and checked dates. A source can change after a visit plan is published, so follow the official link again before booking and shortly before travelling.

Keep tournament years visible

We separate confirmed dates from provisional ranges, and the main draw from qualifying or Opening Week. When the next edition’s prices or arrangements are still pending, an older edition can illustrate the type of purchase. Its year remains visible. We do not carry a past fare, entry time or free-travel benefit forward as a promise.

Price examples identify the product and session when that information is available. Figures covering unspecified inventory are not useful like-for-like comparisons, so we leave them out of session tables. Sterling illustrations use a dated exchange rate and rounded amounts; the provider’s final local-currency booking summary is the figure to check before payment.

Resolve differences that affect a visit

If sources disagree, we look at who operates the service and what each statement actually covers. A step-free station can still need boarding assistance, and a ticketed accessible viewing space does not make every surrounding route step-free. The full journey matters: the interchange, platform, stop, gate and viewing position.

Eastbourne is one example. Southern and National Rail classify the station as step-free to all platforms, while the tournament travel page contained different wording. The guide follows the station sources and keeps boarding assistance as a separate question. We also distinguish an online shop’s payment methods from stadium outlets, and a city ferry network from a private event boat.

Corrections and the limits of a check

Email webmaster@offtothetennis.com with the page, tournament year, proposed correction and official link. We check the source before updating the record. Hotel prices and availability are set by the provider; area journey times are planning estimates and can change with the exact address and transport disruption.

The log below lists every completed guide and its latest source-check date from the guide records. A recent check can concern one section; read the source dates beside the advice for its precise timing. The log does not promise a live audit of every link or future ticket release.
