Bologna is expected as a planning possibility because it hosted the recent editions, but this page does not treat that expectation as an announcement. For the recent BolognaFiere setting, the venue operator lists buses 35 and 38 from the central station towards the exhibition site, with 35 and 39 for the return, plus bus 28 from the centre. These are current venue routes for planning, not a confirmed 2027 tournament service. Recheck TPER and the event’s entrance instructions when the host is finalised.

Accessible seating, companion tickets and the step-free entrance need the 2027 venue’s own details. Ask before purchasing if a specific arrangement is essential. Keep the return trip flexible after a tie and check the last service to your hotel. A short outward bus journey can still require more waiting when a crowd leaves together.

Entry requirements for UK visitors

Read GOV.UK’s Italy entry requirements before booking and before departure. Italy is in Schengen, with the normal short tourist allowance of 90 days in any 180 across the area. Your passport must have been issued less than ten years before arrival and remain valid at least three months after leaving Schengen.

EES registration can involve fingerprints and a photograph at the border. GOV.UK says ETIAS is expected from Autumn 2026 and no action is required at this point, checked 11 October 2026.
